The Rising Sun offers a varied menu of imaginative snacks/starters, main meals and delicious desserts all at agreeable prices.

Please click on the links below to view a typical selection from our menu portfolio. Each day the menu on offer is posted up on the blackboards above the main fireplace. Sunday lunch with various roasts is a popular occasion and reservations are recommended.

In the winter we offer hot mulled wine and warm spiced cider and with a wood burning stove and open fire a truly warm and cosy atmosphere is created.

Reservations are welcomed for large and small parties. We can cater for up to 45 people for birthdays, wedding receptions, christenings, anniversaries and other celebrations. For the more sombre occasion the Rising Sun is equally suitable with great care and consideration being taken at all times.

We always endeavour to offer a complete snack/meal with no hidden/surprising "add-ons". Our prices are inclusive of VAT. There is no additional service charge and any gratuities are left entirely to your own discretion. However prices are subject to alteration without notice.
